"In previous years, Sicily, including Favignana, saw the progressive cancellation of several fixed tuna-tuna for the various provinces with consequent loss of jobs and all the induced linked to a quality processing.Today thanks to the government we have reversed this dramatic trend and we are in sight of the allocation of quotas - assures - The Municipality of Favignana asks to be involved in order to avoid that a historical occasion can be thwarted with logic that would restore a dejavu of the 90s and also because this Municipality is the managing body of the protected area of ​​the Egadi Islands, the largest in Italy, and can therefore also become an opportunity for a policy that is attentive to the ecosystem and the quality of the habitat by combining fishing activities and the environment. .
