Google expands the mapping of the most beautiful places in the world accessible through the service of Google Maps StreetView , going along the coasts of the Marine Protected " Egadi " and photographing the beaches of Favignana , Levanzo and Marettimo , now available in the " Places of interest of Italy " , on the website : https://www.google.com/maps/views/streetview/italy-highlights?gl=it&hl=it

The initiative was launched at the request of its AMP Egadi and the Ministry of the Environment , who have proposed to Google Italy to create a photographic mapping of some stretches of coast in the most beautiful Italian : AMP over the Egadi , were photographed the areemarine protected Pelagie and Portofino and the Aeolian Islands .

The Egadi shooting , carried out in December 2013 , were conducted in the coastal areas most evocative of the three islands of the archipelago , in close coordination with the managing body , through the use of " Trekker " , a special instrumentation and patented by Google carried on the shoulders by specialists .

In particular , were made photographic mapping of the coasts of Cala Tramontana , Levanzo , Cala Rotonda, Favignana , and Praia Nacche , Marettimo , now explored by anyone , in a virtual , on Google Maps.
